About Us

Dwayne WiseWise was given the nickname "The Deal" from message boards across the nation due to his ability to relate to most topics pertaining to the sport of basketball. Wise attended Archbishop Curley High School, where he made All Catholic League Honorable mention honors 2 straight seasons and graduated with the class of 90'. Wise turned down scholarship offers from FAMU and Norfolk State; opting to join the U.S. Navy and travel the world instead. While stationed on the West Coast he took classes at San Diego State concentrating on communications. After being honorably discharged in 95', he came back home and divided his time to help develop the basketball talent in cousins Marlin Wise (former standout at Southern High and Towson State) and most notable Mark Karcher, (former St. Frances alum, Temple University alum and Philadelphia 76ers’ draft pick in 2000)

Wise had a passion for providing exposure to our inner city youth and has met several basketball moguls along the way. At the Adidas Big Time Camp "aka ABCD Camp" Dwayne met and consulted with Sonny Vaccaro known to many as the Godfather of basketball. Mark Karcher success as a player helped “The Deal” expand his network in the tight knit basketball universe. Wise, through experience, has learned to proactively use his relationships and eye for the game to help bring resources from outside of Charm City to help bring exposure to our local basketball community. In June 2008 Wise founded the "I95Elite Challenge" All- Star basketball exposure event. The inaugural I-95Elite Challenge game was such a huge success in 2008, it helped the event grow even bigger it’s second time around in May 2, 2009. For the second annual I-95Elite Challenge event, Wise partnered with Under Armour, ESPN’s Insidemdsports.com and DTLR to take the All-Star event to new heights. Wise didn't become satisfied with just the I-95Elite Challenge games, months later Wise brought top AAU Teams from other regions to Charm City for the "Bring it To B-more" event which was held at the Carmelo Anthony Youth Center. Due to the success of these events, Dwayne Wise was mentioned in the nationally recognized Philadelphia's CheckBall Magazine 2009 as one of the top rising basketball promoters in the Mid Atlantic Region. Presently Wise is an educator at The Children’s Guild of Baltimore, a non-public Level5 school that focuses on Autistic Behaviors of students. He is currently pursuing his B.S. in education and Masters Degree in Special Education
